The toner also provides very gentle exfoliation thanks to RNA acid – gluconolactone, which very gently exfoliates the skin, preventing blockage of the sebaceous glands and the formation of comedones or inflammation. Gluconolactone is a very mild acid, so the toner can even be used on sensitive, inflamed skin.
